4. Does Pizza Hut only serve pizzas?
A. Pizza Hut is about pizzas and more. Apart from being the pizza experts, we also have a new BIG menu with a wide range
of vegetarian and non-vegetarian appetizers, soups, salads, pastas, beverages and desserts.
5. How different are the Indian consumers and to cater to their taste how do you customize your products?
A. Indian consumers, like global consumers, have welcomed Pizza Hut’s strategy of introducing familiar toppings over the
years. International products have been tested on levels of salt and spices to ensure they suit the Indian palate. The
enhanced menu that we are introducing as a part of our brand repositioning at Pizza Hut is also in keeping with the
evolving tastes and preferences of the Indian consumers.
Another point to note is that world over; the toppings at Pizza Hut are mainly beef and pepperoni. But in India 60% of the
people are vegetarian and we have more variety in the toppings on the vegetarian side.
